I really appreciated this car cuz I turned 18 not long ago and got myself one of these ce lancers with a 4g15 manual. To see u turbo it was pretty sick and I was wondering if it's even slightly justifiable to do on my own? Could u confirm it runs reliably at 8psi and am I better off waiting for a second car which is a better base to turbo? I have no idea but sick content man keep it up!

I've got a Mitsubishi Mirage with the 4G15 engine in it, the engine is honestly a beast of a thing. Reliable as all hell. Highly considering chucking a turbo in it to make it a fun little run around

tell old mate that tuning bigger injectors is piss easy, you can find find information for duty cycle etc online. Just copy and paste values into the table essentially

Won't handle much if you keep shifting while holding limiter... sounds good... "misfires". Pretty sure it's oil covered plugs causing your misfire, fix the rocker cover gasket and spark plug seals and you'll be fine. Also fix that turbo drain ;)

Sounds like knock at 6:28, probably cracked a piston which would explain the "misfire" at idle and smoke out the exhaust. You're getting "false lean" when you misfire which is why it read 15, the actual mixture in the cylinder is a lot richer than that.

for a little 1.5 this thing can take bloody abuse geez, we got a 1.9 tdi golf which isnt fast whatsoever it has 105 hp but if we remap it it can go to 160-165 with a 0-100 of 8 seconds I think which imo its not drag fast but for a little golf and not upgrading the turbo on it im shocked on how much hp and stuff it can get well diesels in general, we also used to have a 1.6 hdi peugeot which had 110hp which went to about 150-155 hp but pushed 20 psi which might sound like alot but it needed it because the car itself was quite heavy and it was a station wagon as well but it managed to get 10 seconds while stock its suppost to get 15-16 seconds but ye, here's why I bloody love diesels so much I would love a petrol but the best I can get is a little 60 hp 1.4 none turbo😂I want something with a bit of poke but ye awesome video as always rex

Still having problems with O2 sensors. I have 4 upstream O2 sensors now none them work it the 2000 Camry LE 2.2L. I'm now believing it has to be calibrated to the Camry computer so it can sink. I mean I have 4 O2'S and they don't work. Come no now. It runs without a O2 sensor. I did do one thing I was pride of doing. I took out the glovebox bulb which is a 74 bulb and put in a 74 cool white led bulb from Super Bright Led. Only bad thing is you have to take the glovebox out to get to the bulb. That's why You Tube is very handy. Now all I have left is the console shifter light and dashboard clutter light which take a 74 and a 194. They of course will be cool white and warm white leds. This is it for now.

you should do heaps of these, kitting out cheap p plater cars (ones that actually have potential tho) and making a whole series out of it and do lots of them. Like an 03 NA Mazda 6 or an NA WRX or something.
